Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson appear to have confirmed that they are dating after stepping out together for the first time. The rumoured couple attended the White House State Dinner in Washington together on Tuesday evening.
The singer looked thrilled to be on the arm of the 26-year-old athlete as they arrived at the event, and the pair held hands as they walked around together.
Ciara stunned in a champagne-coloured gown which she complemented with sleek tresses and nude make-up. Meanwhile Russell looked smart in a black tuxedo and bow tie for the event, which was held in honour of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his wife Akie Abe.

The couple were first rumoured to be dating on Thursday, with sources telling E! News that the relationship is very new, but going very well so far.
"It's still at the beginning stages and it's very fresh," the source said. "She thinks he is a complete gentleman and has really enjoyed hanging out with him these past few weeks. It's constant laughter and fun with them.
"Things are a bit busy for them now, but they are willing to make time and see where this may go."

Russell is the first man Ciara has been linked with since calling off her engagement to rapper Future in 2014. Meanwhile Russell filed for divorce from his wife Ashton in April 2014 after two years of marriage.
The Goodies singer, who has a son Future Jr. from her previous relationship, is said to have made it clear with Russell that the 11-month-old remains the top priority in her life.
"Wilson loves children, and that's great because Ciara always talks about her son," the source said. "Baby Future is her top priority and his happiness is number one, always. Her heart is very open now and has healed from her breakup with Future.
"She is very open in having a new relationship and really excited [about] where this may go."
