Cheryl Fernandez-Versini shares childhood snap with Andrea Riseborough

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and actress Andrea Riseborough were always destined for stardom. This week, singer Cheryl shared a sweet throwback snapshot that shows the pair as children, posing side-by-side ahead of a school performance.The picture shows the two girls dressed in costume and smiling broadly as they stand with their hands on their hips. "#Tbt me and Andrea Riseborough aged about 9 or 10 getting ready for our panto dance," the 31-year-old singer captioned the photograph.

Since then, Cheryl has become a household name, first as a member of Girls Aloud, and then a successful solo artist and judge on The X Factor. Andrea, meanwhile, is one of the country’s most acclaimed stage and film actresses. Her silver screen credits include the Oscar-winning Birdman, and Oblivion with Tom Cruise, and she will soon make her return to the London stage after an absence of seven years.The 33-year-old is taking on the role of Rosalind in a new production of As You Like It at the National Theatre's Olivier stage in November 2015.

Cheryl is a fan of Throwback Thursday; just last week she shared another snapshot from the Tweedy family album. In the picture, a young Cheryl cane be seen with bows in her hair and wearing a pretty pink dress as she poses with her mum in a photo booth. She simply captioned the photo: "#Tbt me and my mam. "Meanwhile, fans can look forward to seeing Cheryl back on The X Factor panel when the show returns later this year. According to the Sun, boss Simon Cowell has told Cheryl that she is a linchpin and will remain as a judge "at all costs".

Cheryl's position on the X Factor panel is reportedly safe

Unfortunately Mel B's position is reportedly less assured. "They haven't signed a deal yet, but Simon, Cheryl and ITV are all on the same page," a source told the newspaper. "But that's really bad news for Mel. She had a good first year but bosses want a new line-up."
