William and Kate are expecting their second baby any day now

Hopefully Charles won't have too much longer to wait for the arrival of his second grandchild. Kate has now passed her original due date of "mid-to-late April", and will now welcome a May baby.

Parking restrictions outside the Lindo Wing have been extended from 30 April to Tuesday 5 May, meaning that Kate's baby could now arrive over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Kate appears to be taking the wait in her stride, and has been seen going about her day-to-day duties. The Duchess returned to Buckingham Palace with William and their son Prince George on Wednesday – the day that marked their fourth wedding anniversary.

The couple also showed their appreciation to the royal super fans who have been camped outside St Mary's Hospital for two weeks by sending a delivery of sweet treats and hot drinks on Tuesday.
