Calum Best and model Ianthe Rose Cochrane-Stack have decided to end their nine-month romance. In a statement to HELLO!, Calum confirmed that he and Ianthe had called time on their blossoming relationship, just a few weeks after they were spotted enjoying a romantic holiday together. "I am blessed to have met the incredible Ianthe," the TV star told HELLO!. "She is the first girl I really loved and I'll remember the time we spent together with so much fondness. Unfortunately we have had to go our separate ways, however I wish her nothing but the best and truly hope we remain friends."

Calum, 34, and 23-year-old Ianthe went public with their romance in February, following his appearance on Celebrity Big Brother. And in an exclusive joint interview with HELLO!, Calum revealed that Ianthe had already met his mum Angie Best – the first girlfriend he had ever introduced to her. "I've been a pretty closed book in relationships," Calum admitted. "I've kept a lot private, not wanting to let people get too close. But they get on so great. My mum can see how crazy I am about Ianthe, and she's thrilled that she's come into my life at a really good time because everything is positive and I'm in a really good place."I have honestly never felt this strongly about anyone before or wanted to evolve a relationship as much as I do this one. And that feels really great."

Ianthe, for her part, said she didn't care about Calum's previous playboy reputation. "The way I look at it, everyone, Calum included, is entitled to a past, and whilst I will judge him, I will do it from what I know of him, not on a reputation," she told HELLO!. "And what I know of him so far is that he is the sweetest, kindest, most considerate man I have ever been involved with. He is, as people are now realising, a real gentleman and I find that really refreshing."
