Kris Jenner has reportedly struggled to come to terms with her ex Caitlyn Jenner's transition, but the pair are said to be "fine" following their reunion on Tuesday. It marked the first time that Kris had met Caitlyn since her transition, with the "momager" spotted paying a two-hour visit to her ex's Malibu home.

"Everything is fine," a source told E! News, adding that the meeting between the former couple was needed.

Their lengthy meeting was said to be the first time Kris had come face to face with her ex-husband since she identified as Caitlyn. Kris had previously visited Caitlyn when she was going through her transition – but still referred to herself as Bruce.

Kris Jenner is said to be "fine" with Caitlyn Jenner's transition

"Kris isn't at a place yet where she wants her first meeting with Caitlyn to be televised," a source told Hollywood Life. "The whole thing is still so out of her comfort level. This is the person Kris was married to and had children with. Interacting with Caitlyn is not something she's come to terms with."

The former couple were married for 23 years before their divorce was finalised in December. They are parents to 19-year-old Kendall, and 17-year-old Kylie.

The Jenner and Kardashian families have supported Caitlyn wholeheartedly since she announced she is transgender, and recently rallied together to support her at the ESPY awards, where she was honoured with the Arthur Ashe Courage award – and also made her first red carpet appearance.

Kris has described Caitlyn Jenner as "inspirational"

While Kris was absent from Caitlyn's big night, she supported her in spirit. "I think it was amazing and very brave," Kris told Us Weekly of Caitlyn's poignant speech, which brought the audience to their feet.

Of Caitlyn's glamorous appearance in a white Versace gown, Kris added: "I think she looked beautiful."

The 59-year-old previously said that Caitlyn was "inspirational", telling Extra: "I think it's amazing. I think that someone following their dream is truly inspiration to a lot of people… you have to do what makes you happy."
