Adele may finally be ready to release her highly-anticipated third album. The Someone Like You singer is said to be planning to release the follow up to her Grammy-award winning album 21 in November following a four-year hiatus.

Billboard reports that the 27-year-old has worked on music with artists including One Republic's Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote the hit Rumour Has It on her last album. Adele is also said to have collaborated with music producers Danger Mouse and Max Martin on the new release.

Adele will reportedly release her new album in November

Adele previously hinted that her new album was set for release in 2014, with a cryptic tweet to celebrate her 26th birthday. However her label XL Recordings ruled out the timing of the release.

Although the down-to-earth performer has stayed quiet about what we can expect from her new material, Ed Sheeran claims to have heard that it's "really good".

Speaking to Capital FM in July, Ed said: "I haven't heard [Adele's album], but everyone I know who've worked on it is just like, 'Dude, that record!' Apparently, it's really good."

The new album has a tough act to follow; Adele's album 21 sold over 11 million copies and won the Grammy award for Album of the Year in 2012. The singer subsequently won an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe for her song Skyfall, which she wrote for the James Bond film of the same name.

Since releasing 21 Adele has largely kept a low-profile as she enjoyed time out with her little boy Angelo, now two, with partner Simon Konecki. The mother-of-one has been quietly working on her new music, and appeared to have been in the studio with Lady Gaga in January, leaving fans excited at the prospect of a duet.

The singer has also been the subject of speculation that she could be planning a two-year residency deal in Las Vegas. "The demand for Adele is off the charts," a source told In Touch Weekly. "Everyone is dying to see her perform again. This could be the biggest deal ever put together."
