David Walliams and Lara Stone granted 'quickie' divorce

David Walliams and Lara Stone have ended their five-year marriage. On Thursday, a judge at London's Central Family Court granted the couple a decree nisi on the grounds of Lara's "unreasonable behaviour", which court papers said was "continuing". The news means that David and Lara's union will now be officially dissolved in six weeks time, and comes six months after the couple - who have a two-year-old son Alfred together - decided to split.Dutch supermodel Lara, 31, left the marital home in North London back in March, taking Alfred with her and the couple's beloved dog Bert.

News of the couple's split came as a big shock to their fans. While they initially seemed like an unlikely pairing, the stars were believed to have a particularly strong marriage.Lara and Little Britain star David started dating in 2009. "We met at a party and then went on a few dates," she told Dutch Vogue at the start of their romance. "He's wonderful. He's amazing. He makes me laugh. He's a proper gentleman. He’s a bit mean but in a good way. I'm happy."

The pair announced their engagement on 20 January 2010. They were married four months later, at London's exclusive Claridge's Hotel on 16 May 2010, in front of guests including Sir Elton, Stephen Fry, Noel Gallagher and Geri Halliwell.In November 2012, David proudly announced on Twitter that his supermodel bride was pregnant with their first child, writing, "Some wonderful news. My beautiful wife Lara is pregnant. We are having a baby! It's due next year and we both couldn't be happier." Little Alfred arrived on 6 May."I'm blessed," Lara told Dutch Vogue back in August 2014. "I have a fantastic husband, a beautiful baby, a wonderful dog and super job. Life's pretty good and normal."
