Khloe Kardashian has spoken in defence of her relationship with James Harden after Twitter users told her she wasn't honouring her wedding vows to Lamar Odom. The 31-year-old, who called off her divorce to Lamar in October when he overdosed, said she still intends to go ahead with the divorce in the future.

The Keeping up with the Kardashians star has been by Lamar's bedside as he recovers from a drug overdose, however she is still very much together with James Harden.

One Twitter follower with the username @juanitoo95 wrote to the star: "You can't be with Harden and still be married fam, gotta chose one." Leading another Twitter user to add: "For better or worse sickness and health till death to them part. I'm with you she needs to pick one or the ou."

However an unimpressed Khloe retorted: "You should have said those to the man who went against all our vows. Judge yourself.

"Divorce is still going forward," she added. "Doesn't mean I won't be there through sickness and health. I've proven that."

Khloe recently said that she had put her divorce on hold because it was "smarter" for herself and Lamar to remain legally married at this time for medical reasons.

"It's just bad timing to proceed with that right now," she told People. "And also for medical reasons, it's just smarter that gets put on hold for a minute."

While the reality TV star has continued to support her estranged husband through his recovery, she has been struck down with an illness of her own. She reportedly contracted a staph infection after spending time by Lamar's bedside in hospital.

TMZ reports that Khloe has a lesion on her leg which has become painful, and developed a high fever and swollen glands, leading her to pull out of a number of public appearances. She is now recovering at home with antibiotics, and ended her Twitter debate on Wednesday night by telling fans: "Signing off… Antibiotics + painkillers + tweeting does not equal anything good lol."
