Gwyneth Paltrow gathered her famous friends to celebrate the launch of her new Goop skincare range on Sunday. The actress hosted a special lunch for some of her closest friends including Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe and Cameron Diaz.

The group appeared to enjoy a relaxed al fresco lunch judging by photos shared on social media, and wore colourful floral headpieces as they dined together.

She also shared another photo of herself pouting for the camera while Nicole planted a kiss on her cheek. "So much love today with my @nicolerichie honoring the unstoppable @gwynethpaltrow for her latest achievement," Rachel wrote.

Meanwhile Reese told fans she had enjoyed a "fun" day out with some of her "favourite people".

Reese Witherspoon said she had enjoyed lunch with some of her "favourite people"

"What a fun lunch with some of my favourite people @gwynethpaltrow! Good, clean beauty products made with so much love & care. Gotta <3 that! #goodcleangoop," Reese captioned a photo of herself and Gwyneth.

Gwyneth launched her highly-anticipated skincare range in partnership with Juice Beauty and her company Goop at the beginning of March. It features six all-natural, organic products from eye creams to face masks, which she has described as "truly luxurious and effective".

This skincare collection is the latest step in Gwyneth's quest to conquer the world of beauty – earlier this year she also launched an organic make-up range, also in collaboration with Juice Beauty, which included "clean" products from lipsticks to blushers, which are also vegan-friendly.
