After Jacqueline Jossa was asked uncomfortable questions on Loose Women about her fiancé Dan Osborne's past, the soap star took to Twitter to express how upset she was. Jacqueline had told producers that she didn't want to "dwell on the past" and "answer certain questions".

In a new interview the 23-year-old has said it's time for everyone to move on – and that she wouldn't be with Dan if he were a bad guy.

Quashing those split rumours, Jacqueline said: "I don't care about negativity with me and Daniel, I'm over it. I'm not defending him anymore. I don't care – it all happened a long time ago."

"The past is irrelevant," said Jacqueline Jossa

The EastEnders star added that all that mattered was Daniel getting on with his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin, with whom he shares a son Teddy.

"The past is irrelevant," said Jacqueline.

The pint-sized beauty and her fiancé Dan are the proud parents to baby Ella, who turned one in February.

"There are, of course, times when I'll wobble a bit and things are upsetting, but I get home and see Ella and it puts everything into perspective," said the actress. "She keeps me strong."

The actress said her one-year-old daughter Ella "keeps her strong"

"I wouldn't be with someone if I had something terrible to say about them," she said. "If there was anything bad going on in my relationship I'd be the first to run away! I'm not stupid."

Earlier this month, Jacqueline agreed to make a TV appearance on Loose Women about being a young mother and her return from maternity leave. The line of questioning soon turned to her fiancé's turbulent past however, including whether Jacqueline would invite Dan's ex-girlfriend Megan to the wedding.

"Can't express how upset I am, was told the interview on Loose Women today was to be about being a young mum and going back to work," Jacqueline tweeted. "Don't know whose fault it was, but I made it clear I didn't want to dwell on the past, and answer certain questions.

"Going on live TV is hard for me, but be told they would just touch on certain things, and them do the complete opposite is unfair. Wouldn't have done it otherwise, bored of talking about it all now! Was just unfair."

She added: "I'm angry they told me it would be about my daughter Ella and asked for her to be filmed and turned it into this. Shocking. Unfair."
