Brooklyn Beckham has been practicing his photography skills during the family's holiday in Los Angeles. The 17-year-old, who recently shot a campaign for Burberry, perfected his art with a little help from his younger brother Cruz over the weekend.

The talented teen captured a photo of Cruz swimming underwater in a pool, which he shared with a black-and-white filter on his Instagram account.

"Underwater photography," Brooklyn captioned the photo with a heart.

Brooklyn also shared some snaps of himself enjoying two of his favourite hobbies in the California sunshine – skateboarding and photography. One black-and-white image showed him crouching down with one foot on his skateboard as he clutched his camera in one hand.

"I see you," he wrote.

The teenager shares his images with over 6.5 million Instagram followers

The eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham has been vocal about his passion for photography, and said it is something he may look to pursue as a career once he has finished college. Brooklyn's impressive photos have attracted over 6.5 million Instagram followers, and caught the attention of Burberry chief creative officer Christopher Bailey, who recruited the teenager to shoot the brand's recent fragrance campaign.

Although Brooklyn impressed with his work, his father David Beckham recently spoke out to defend the teen against accusations that he only got the job because of his famous parents.

Speaking to GQ US, David said: "We've always protected our children but we've always been honest with them, as well, 'There's going to be things said about you, about us, that aren't true'."We know [Brooklyn] will make his mistakes – and we know he'll have opportunities because of us. But he's making opportunities for himself, too. So far we've been very lucky that he's found a passion. Whether people believe it or not, he's got genuine talent. He's got a great eye, and he's proven that in the images he's taken."
