Holly Willoughby on Phillip Schofield: 'People mistake us for a real life couple'

Holly Willoughby has revealed that people regularly mistake her and her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield for a real life couple. Despite that fact that they are both happily married, Holly admitted they often receive funny looks or comments about the nature of their relationship because the two families go on holiday together.Speaking to Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw on his breakfast show, Holly, 35, explained: "I do think that when we would bump into people, we went to Portugal, and when people would see us in a bar they'd all be looking at us as if it go, 'Oh my God, are you like actually together in real life?' I'd be like, 'No! It's just a coincidence that we're away."

She added: "He has been holidaying in Portugal for years, and I've been going the last few years so we tend to accidentally bump into each other… not that accidentally. "Phillip, 54, and Holly returned to work following their joint family break in Portugal earlier this week, with Phillip joking: "We can't keep away from each other!"He told viewers: "It's lovely to be back – in fact while it's like we haven't seen each other for a long time, we were two streets away from each other in Portugal."

Phillip is happily married to his wife Stephanie

Phillip has been married to wife Stephanie for more than 20 years and the couple have two daughters together, Molly, 22, and Ruby, 19.Holly, meanwhile, has three children – Harry, six, Belle, four, and 18-month-old Chester – with Dan Baldwin. She admitted this week that she is still head over heels in love with her husband of eight years.

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous magazine, Holly said she believes that sustaining a happy marriage is "something we have to work at", particularly when you become parents. "You're an idiot if you think you just get married and then you tick along happily ever after for the rest of your life," she said. "At the same time it shouldn't be too difficult, but I do believe tiredness has a lot to answer for. Everyone underestimates the effect it has on you as a couple."
