Eva Longoria Baston made a resplendent return to the red carpet on Wednesday, less than two weeks after her wedding to Jose 'Pepe' Baston. The newlywed actress was glowing as she attended the premiere of Lowriders at the LA Film Festival fresh from her return from her Cambodian honeymoon.

Wearing a black bandeau cocktail dress paired with strappy heels and her gorgeous wedding ring, Eva couldn't stop smiling as she entered the event, despite arriving without her husband. Her brunette hair was styled into loose waves following a pampering session at her friend Ken Paves' salon on Wednesday afternoon.

Eva Longoria made her first red carpet appearance as a newlywed

Eva had shared a photo of herself being pampered and preened by a group of five stylists earlier in the day. "Back to reality! #WorkWorkWork," she captioned the snap.

The Desperate Housewives star has quickly returned to work following a brief honeymoon in Cambodia and Thailand. She had been keeping fans updated throughout her romantic getaway, sharing photos of herself jumping for joy in a number of exotic locations.

Eva also took the time to thank her friend Victoria Beckham for the "dream dress" she wore on her big day in Mexico on 21 May. The 41-year-old wore a breathtaking custom Victoria Beckham gown for her wedding day in Mexico on 21 May, and was incredibly grateful to the former Spice Girl for creating the gown.

Sharing a photo of herself and Victoria getting ready for the service, Eva wrote: "This was the wedding dress I dreamed of! Thank u @victoriabeckham for having the best vision for my dress! Love you!"

In an exclusive interview with HELLO! MagazineDesperate Housewives star Eva opened up about choosing Victoria to create her dress. She explained: "I asked Victoria to do my dress because I wanted it to be special and made with love – and I knew Victoria would make it with love.

"Victoria was one of my witnesses, too – she signed the paper that says I was here – so it was a Victoria Beckham weekend. She was the best, sweetest person to have there on this day. Not only did she do my wedding dress but she's one of my best friends so for her to be there was so special."
