The First Lady of the United States was game enough to appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden and a sneak peek clip that was posted online shows just how hilarious the full sketch, airing on Wednesday, will be.

James is seen driving to the White House where he is due to go on a tour, but is left shell-shocked after Michelle – President Barack Obama's wife – hops into his car.

Michelle Obama asked James Corden if he wanted to "go for a spin"

"I hear you're here for a 1.45 tour and I had a little time on my hands, so you want to go for a spin?" said Michelle.

As the pair drove around Washington D.C., Michelle asked if she could put on some tunes. "I rarely get to listen to music in my car," she said, as Missy Elliott's Get Your Freak On blasted out.

"When was the last time you got to do this?" asked James.

"I've been in a car, maybe it was months ago with my daughter who learnt to drive," said Michelle. "That's the only time in seven and a half years that I've been in the passenger seat listening to music, rocking out like this."

The short clip also showed Michelle, 52, and James, 37, throwing some shapes and singing along to Beyoncé's Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).

The hilarious sketch was filmed in June but won't air until Wednesday night.

Michelle used her newly opened Snapchat account to tease the news, and revealed that she and James will also sing This Is For My Girls, the anthem inspired by the Obamas' Let Girls Learn initiative, which focuses on empowering 62 million girls around the world who don't have access to education.

Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Zendaya and Lea Michele were among those who lent their voices to the powerful record.
