Samantha Fox has revealed that she has fallen in love again following the death of her longterm partner Myra Stratton. Sam was left heartbroken after losing Myra, 60, to cancer last year, but she has spoken of her new-found happiness with Norwegian mother-of-two Linda Birgitte Olsen.

Sam opened up about her blossoming romance to her fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemates Marnie Simpson and Katie Waissel. "I've now fallen in love with another woman," she told them. "I met somebody a couple of months ago and I'm very happy. As you get older, life goes so quick."

Sam and Myra were in a 12 year relationship before her death in August 2015, and last week Sam told housemate James Whale that Myra was the first woman she had fallen in love with.

"I just believe that love is far greater than anything," she said. "You can't help who you fall in love with. If you fall in love with somebody, you fall in love with them. You can't help that, can you?"

Shortly before entering the CBB house, the 50-year-old star spoke to the Sun about her new romance with Linda. "It's working out great, and we're very happy," she revealed. "She's a lovely girl. She's not in the business which is wonderful."

She added: "She wants me voted out first! She said, 'I'll miss you but please come out first!"

Sam also revealed that she had decided to do the reality show in memory of Myra. "Myra wanted me to do this," she said. "We saw the producers two years ago when Myra got diagnosed.

"Before she died she told me she wanted me to do it. She said, 'I think you'd be great – just go and do it. You'd be really good Sammy, people don't realise how witty you are and what fun you are.'"
