"Fred – 'I don't need to be scared because I look smart & can just be myself' as he said goodnight ahead of his first day in senior school," Jeff tweeted.

The tweet was met with messages of support from Jeff's followers, with one telling him: "That statement right there shows the great lessons you're teaching him."

And it appears Freddy was right not to worry, as he already had his big brother Bobby and some older friends to show him the way in his new school.

Jeff has recently relocated to Essex with Bobby, Freddy and his girlfriend Kate

"So now both are in senior school, the beauty of having a kids football team, Fred had some older boys to walk him in & show him where to go," Jeff updated his fans on Monday.

Jeff has recently relocated back to Essex after spending the past year living near Hove with Freddy, Bobby and his girlfriend Kate. The life coach explained why he chose to make the big move in a blog for The Huffington Post, admitting he felt it was the best decision for his sons during their last few years at school.

Revealing that Bobby had experienced a "bad year" at his new school, Jeff explained: "I felt the safest and most sensible way of guaranteeing his happiness and education would be to go back to the security of the school and area where he has the acceptance of great friends, the support of family and most importantly the belief that he can just be himself which sadly left him in the school he had just attended."

He added: Freddy was keen to come back too even though he has really progressed during the past year. I think it's partly in empathy for his brother but I know he wants it too."
