Peter Andre has admitted he can sometimes be a "strict" parent to his children Junior, Princess and Amelia. The 43-year-old, who has launched a series called 'Dads with a Difference' on ITV's This Morning, opened up about his parenting styling during an appearance on the show on Thursday.

"I do have strict rules. They are not allowed mobile phones at home and to go on social networks… it doesn't mean I'm right, but that's just my way of doing it," Peter admitted. "We have social time when we sit and eat - I just want to instil what mum and dad instilled in us."

Peter is set to become a father again as his wife Emily is currently around seven months pregnant with their second child together. And the Mysterious Girl singer couldn't be happier with his wife, as he told the hosts their relationship is "magical and wonderful".

It hasn't been without its challenges though, with Peter admitting that he feared he would lose Emily amid his heartache following the death of his brother in 2012.

"I plummeted, I went straight back to where I was ten years ago when I had all the depression and panic attacks. But the plus side is that I came through it," Peter said, adding: "I thought there's no way she's [Emily] going to stay with me. She would talk to me and I'd walk into the other room and shut the door, for her, I shut her out completely."

He continued: "And I said to her 'you've got two options…you can either go and do what you have to do, let me get through this, and when I get through this if you want to talk, let's talk. Or you can stick by me.'

"And I really thought she'd say, 'I need some time out' but she said, 'there isn’t two options, there's only one and I'm staying with you'."
