"I loved Jennifer Aniston growing up," Michelle replied to one fan. "Hi hunni, my fashion icon is Jessica Alba... just because in the day she dresses down but still looks effortlessly stylish," she tweeted another.

"Dead or Alive, who would you love to meet and why?" came another question. "I'd have to say MICHAEL JACKSON. I've been a massive fan of him since I was little," Michelle answered.

Michelle received praise for her performances in Our Girl and Corrie, but if she hadn't gone down the acting route she would do "something with helping animals," she told one fan.

She added that what she missed most about Corrie were "the people" and her family and friends back in Manchester. "I was a fan of the show as were my family so being able to work on the show itself with characters who I've grown up watching was amazing," she tweeted.

And to one fan who aspires to follow in her footsteps, Michelle wrote: "My advice would be always believe in yourself."
