Famed for being one of the world's most famous pop princesses, Britney Spears certainly looked her best as she showed off her moves in front of the Loose Women panel on Tuesday's show.

The lucky ladies - Ruth Langsford, Nadia Sawalha, Janet Street-Porter and Coleen Nolan - were treated to a special dance class, which saw the 34-year-old songstress put them through their paces in front of the viewers at home and the live audience.

Strutting their stuff, the panel happily pranced around the floor with their hands on their hips before finishing off their routine with a little "boo".

During the interview, Britney - who is promoting her new album Glory - spoke about the influence her eldest son Sean Federline has had on her latest offering.

"He's at the stage where mum really knows not all," she confessed. "It's not 'aw' at all, he thinks mum is really not that cool, mum doesn't know it all, he's at that stage when he's about to become a teenager, a tricky stage."

She added: "He's very blunt, he's very honest, and I respect that and he's the generation coming up, so a couple of songs he's like 'mum that's really boring' or 'that's really really good' and so he was right."

The Oops!... I Did It Again hitmaker shares two sons, 11-year-old Sean and ten-year-old Jayden, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Discussing whether her sons realise her level of fame, Britney said: "I'm not sure, it's weird because when I'm on stage I go into character, I'm super girl mummy mode, but when I'm at home I'm mum and that's the way they look at me, I'm mummy."

The mother-of-two also spoke about being single again after her recent split from film and TV producer Charlie Ebersol.

"I'm not [dating]," she admitted. "I'm happily single right now... I like younger guys... I like spur of the moment things, I don't like it to be so planned like let's go on a date, I just like things to happen."
