Celebrities and sports stars from around the world flocked to London on Monday night to show their support for the world's fastest man, Usain Bolt. The nine-time Olympic gold medallist and other famous faces attended the premiere of I Am Bolt, a new film about the legacy and career of the sporting hero.

Boris Becker, David Haye, Cesc Fabregas, Raheem Sterling, Mo Farah and his wife Tania were among those who walked the red carpet, while Liam Payne, Geri Halliwell, Justin Bieber and Sean Paul represented the music world.

Usain, 30, was supported by his parents Wellesley and Jennifer Bolt who said they couldn't be prouder of their son. "We are happy parents, you can just imagine to be the parents of the world's fastest man. He's such a humble person, he's been known around the entire world, you can just imagine the feeling," said Usain's father.

The Jamaican sprinter was inundated with support from hundreds of fans, who had braved the cold in Leicester Square to try and catch a glimpse of the athlete. "It's a great feeling to know that these guys want to come out and support me, want to see my life," he said. "I thank them for coming out to support me, that's always great, continue supporting."

Directors Benjamin and Gabe Turner spoke about how fortunate they were to work with Usain. "I think we were lucky that he opened up to us, he talked about his insecurities, and the fact that he maybe wasn't as motivated this year as he had been in the past," they said. "It was just great getting that footage through, and starting to piece the film together and realising that it wasn't just going to be one plain simple easy ride to nine gold medals, there were a few twists and turns along the way."
