Some good news ahead of Christmas! Michael Bublé's son Noah has been released from hospital in time to spend the holidays with his family. The three-year-old has spent weeks undergoing treatment for cancer, and having now successfully completed the first stage of chemotherapy will be able to spend Christmas with dad Michael, mum Luisana Lopilato and baby brother Elias, 11 months, the Mirror reports.

The Bublés are expected to celebrate Christmas this year in Los Angeles, where Noah is being treated for cancer, instead of the family's home in Vancouver, where the festivities usually take place.

Luisana's actor brother Dario and dad Eduardo are due to travel to LA from their homes in her native Argentina for the holidays. Luisana's mother, meanwhile, is already in the city having been by her daughter's side ever since Noah's diagnosis at the start of November.

According to the Mirror, an Argentinean site confirmed that Noah had "successfully finished the first stage of his treatment", adding: "This is without a doubt the best present for his parents and the relatives who have been helping them out since they learnt about his cancer diagnosis.

"To celebrate this good piece of news, the artists' families will travel to the United States to spend Christmas with Noah and make it one of the most special Christmases they have had together. They're all used to spending the festive season in Vancouver, but this year they will be where Noah is."

Michael and Luisana have been married since March 2011

Following Noah's devastating cancer diagnosis, Michael announced that both he and his wife had cancelled their work schedules to be with their son. "[Luisana and I are going to spend all our time and attention to help Noah get better, by suspending our professional activities for now. During this difficult time, we ask that you pray for him and please respect our privacy," he wrote.

Michael later pulled out of the BBC Music Awards. He is still currently due to host the 2017 Brit Awards in London in February and the Canadian equivalent, the Juno Awards, in Ottawa in April.
