Jools Oliver has the sweetest brood. The doting mum has shared a photo of her son Buddy, six, bonding with her four-month-old baby River.

Clearly bursting with pride and love for her children, Jools couldn't resist posting a snap from the doctor's surgery. Buddy was pictured walking along, cradling River close to his chest.

"Carrying his little brother from the doctors surgery to sweet xxx," wrote Jools.

The star and her husband Jamie, 41, welcomed their fifth child in August. The TV chef has recently opened up about his little bundle of joy, saying that River is now settling into a routine.

"River is really good now, so we're relieved. Sleep deprivation is hard. But it's a dream now," Jamie told HELLO! magazine. "We're like teenagers all of a sudden. We just need to get River into a bit more of a routine before we leave the house. Having time alone with Jools is the rarest thing."

Making sure he pays attention to all of their children, Jamie continued: "They're all so different. Buddy and Petal are very cuddly and tactile, but the teenagers want different things from me now, so I try to divide it up. It's lovely going home to a busy household."

The popular TV star and his wife have been married for 16 years. They are the proud parents to Poppy Honey Rose, 14, Daisy Boo Pamela, 13, Petal Blossom Rainbow, seven, Buddy Bear Maurice and River Rocket.

Jamie says spending time with his family is his priority

Spending time with his family will always be his number one priority, but it hasn't always been easy for Jamie, especially with his work commitments.

"I used to work seven days a week, forever," he confessed. "It would be unusual for me not to work. But Jools was very clear when we had Poppy and said, 'Monday to Friday is yours, but the weekends are mine. Give me the holidays as well and everything will be fine.' So it's actually clear cut."
