Cat Deeley surprised fans when she took to Twitter to share a very candid account of a recent dining experience. The TV presenter ate out at TOMGEORGE in Los Angeles, calling the venue the "worst restaurant in LA" and "absolutely awful" in a series of tweets. Choosing not to hold back, she gave her honest opinion of the restaurant's food and service. "Just to be clear. Our order arrived at the table incorrectly FIVE times! Then one of my guest's dishes was inedible. There was zero service," she wrote on Twitter.

Cat went on to describe the food as "terrible" and the manager "unhelpful and rude". The waiter who served her replied to one of her tweets, writing: "Cat, as your server at TomGeorge I am hurt." He continued: "I gave you respect, and I served you with love." The mum-of-one responded: "And as I respectfully told you, the catalogue of errors were not your fault. However the mistakes were repeatedly not correctly rectified."

Cat Deeley complained about the restaurant on Twitter

In one of her first posts, the Brit also shared a photo of the restaurant exterior and captioned it: "Avoid at all costs." She repeated in another tweet: "This place is awful! Avoid at all costs!" Cat and her three guests ordered the TOMGEORGES burger, truffle fries, beef tartare and other dishes but it sounds like the food wasn't up to standard, as she continued to label it "terrible" and "the worst" in other tweets.

Following her complaints on Twitter, Cat's friend Busy Philipps took to Instagram to weigh in on the drama. She praised Cat's honesty, saying in her Instagram story: "I'm like fascinated by it. I was like, 'Oh my god, Cat Deeley is like going to town about this restaurant,' cause I follow her on Twitter. I love her." She added: "It was like she forgot she was famous for a second. She was just like, 'Worst food, worst manager.' It's just so rare cause people are so afraid of retributions, I think from anywhere. It's just so rare for people to be so blatantly honest."
