TV chef John Torode has appeared to rubbish claims which suggest he has never been friends with his MasterChef co-host Gregg Wallace. Taking to his Twitter page on Monday, the 51-year-old shared a picture of himself with his on-screen partner alongside the caption: "A lovely day spent with the wonderful @GreggAWallace."

The post comes soon after John reportedly hinted to the Mirror how the pair have a turbulent friendship - despite acting as Gregg's best man at his wedding to Anne-Marie Sterpini last year.
