Harry Styles' sister, Gemma Styles says he 'is golden'

"Harry has always been a charmer, even from a very young age, and usually with older girls. He's never found it difficult to make friends. I remember when he grandly announced in the kitchen, when he was only four or five, that he had his first girlfriend.

"Our mum was quick to correct him, 'Oh no she isn't, Harry. She's NINE!' Then when Harry must have been about seven he came into his own. At the end of a family holiday in Cyprus, when we left on the shuttle bus back to the airport there was a crowd - and I am talking a crowd - of young, much older girls, all gathered on the pavement, waving him off, shouting their goodbyes. What a naughty charmer.

"When he was trying his best in the X Factor auditions I stayed nearby so that when the call came that he was out of the competition, I could go and commiserate, take him home to Cheshire and school, and back to his normal life. But he has just kept on winning and winning. He made me so proud.

"My brother is golden."

Liam Hemsworth talks naughty brother Chris

"What did I get from my brother Chris? That's tricky. Oh wait. Bad words. That's it.

"I learned a lot of bad words from the Blink-182 album which he gave me. That's what older brothers are for – right?"

The Delevigne sisters on their special bond

"When our mother was ill there were tricky times" Poppy admits. "I was 12 when it all started happening, which is the time you really need a mum. Cara was six years younger. She slept in my bed for years. She would literally twine her body around mine when I tried to sleep. To have each other was just so, so vital."

"Oh yes, we are very lucky" Chloe agrees, "The chemistry between us was always kind of perfect."

"Oh, my God, it's incredible to have these two sisters, Poppy and Chloe", Cara insists. "We have been through everything together. They helped bring me up. They taught me my love of music.

"We used to do dance routines to the Spice Girls, which we still do." I don't know what I would do without them, it would be horrifying."

Matt Goss on 'best friend' Luke

"My brother Luke and I were born on the same day and we grew up together. Then we wanted to see who we were as men and the cracks appeared. It's fair to say we didn't get along and didn't speak for a long while. We got to the point where we both achieved as much as we could. We were proud of where we were as men.

"Then we lost our mother. That took a great toll on both me and my brother and we realised that is the day you truly become men. What it did was make us very deeply realise that we are a family. We remember our mum's advice 'Stay strong and keep moving, left foot, right foot, but remember to dance along the way' so it was a no brainer to come back together with my best friend Luke. It's then that I realised that Luke is the love of my life.

"We went shopping in LA and I had a guitar and we started to have a jam. It was the cheapest Bros reunion in history and we were in a booth in a music shop. We were just having a jam and I said to him 'It feels right' and I went to the Live Nation label and said we were up for it. And we shook on it. The handshake changed everything."

Taylor Swift talks about younger brother Austin

"I think my thoughts about my younger brother Austin are clear; he gets the best mention in my song The Best Day – and I still mean every word, all these years later 'God smiles on my little brother. Inside and out; he's better than I am.'

"In every way Austin continues to amaze me."

Dannii Minogue on her mentor Kylie

"Kylie is always a tower of strength, and very classy with how she handles everything. She is the real sunshine in my life.

"And what is more she's my go-to for advice whether it's something personal or professional. You couldn't have a better mentor than Kylie."

Sienna Miller on 'beautiful' sister Savannah

"My earliest memories are playing dolls together with my lovely sister, Savannah, when we were very young, dressing them, swopping them, loving them – and I thought those days were gone forever. Then years later Savannah opened her shop on Westbourne Grove.

"It just gave me one more reason, as if I needed one, to visit the most beautiful part of Notting Hill. I had always socialised in that area with the odd previous boyfriends but for my beautiful sister to open a clothes shop there, it was heaven; it seemed just like we were playing with each other's dolls again, like in childhood."

The Olsen twins, Ashley and Mary-Kate

"I'll tell you why I adore my sister. Mary-Kate is the most grounded, brutally honest and compassionate person - and my best friend," Ashley insists.

"When you have your sister and BFF by your side, always loving and always consistent - you know what? - you pretty much can’t go wrong", Mary-Kate agrees.

"Every family needs a clever confidante and my closest confidante is definitely my sister Laura. She is three years younger than me - and I always feel she knows everything. Though of course like all good sisters we didn't always see eye to eye growing up – the occasional bicker you understand but only the occasional one but we are very close. Very close. She's the clever one - not me - she studied Sociology and Criminology at Cardiff University and then threw herself into her work for Macmillan in the Cancer Support Evidence Team doing amazing stuff. So I was very honoured to become an Ambassador for Macmillan Cancer charities; it's something very close to all our hearts as they looked after my father towards the end of his life.

"But here's a bit of advice, if you ever want to keep ahead of the pack always make sure you have a clever sister near."

"My half brothers and sister and I needed attention. It could be tough around my house. When I think about that time, I don't remember living in harmony, I don't remember many fun times, so we made it a point of bouncing off each other in the 'Look at me' stakes. At least three of us, my half-sister Leyanne, my friend Marcy and I always used to get up and do Like A Prayer vying for attention.

"With all that pushing and shoving from them it was clear which way I was heading and yes in true showbiz fashion like hundreds of wannabee bands we used our hairbrushes as microphones. Thanks family."
