Her husband Ryan Reynolds was among the honourees on TIME's list of 100 most influential people this year, but it seems Blake Lively was more interested in paying tribute to someone else! The 29-year-old took to her Instagram page to share a funny picture of her partner photobombing John Legend as he performed, claiming the award-winning singer was "the most influential person" in her life. "Congratulations to the most influential person in my life. The best man I know... you deserve this @time 100 honour ... If only my husband wasn't blocking you in this shot. I'm so sorry @johnlegend," she teased in the caption.

Both John, 38, and Ryan, 40, were guests of honour at the lavish gala in New York, on Tuesday evening. The La La Land star was at the event with his beautiful wife Chrissy Teigen, while Blake supported Ryan. Following the night's proceedings, the Deadpool actor took to his social media sites to thank TIME magazine for naming him on the list. In the caption, he wrote: "Thank you #Time100 For including me in this ridiculous list of brilliant and sometimes terrifying people. And the gorgeous @helenmirren ... I thank you from the heart of my bottom for the kindest words ever. They will be sung by a children's choir at my extravagant funeral."

Elsewhere, the couple's appearance comes after Blake opened up about her maternal instincts when she spoke at Variety's Power Of Women event in New York. The actress, who shares daughters James and Ines with Ryan, told the crowd: "I would do anything to protect them. I would literally die for them without a moment's thought. I mean if you think of what you would do for your child, I don't think there's anything you wouldn't ask yourself."
