Pippa Middleton and her fiancé James Matthews made a stunning couple as they attended the ParaSnowBall at the Hurlingham Club on Thursday evening. The pair, who are due to marry in a couple of weeks, were all smiles as they made their much-awaited appearance at the black-tie event. Pippa was attending in her role as sponsor and looked every inch the radiant bride-to-be.

Meet the team rumoured to be getting Pippa ready for her wedding

The sporty 33-year-old showed off her slim figure in a blue brocade dress by Erdem, a favourite label with Pippa and her older sister Kate. She completed her sophisticated look with a pair of statement heels and a box clutch, and wore her hair down in a middle parting, keeping her make-up natural.

The author and her fiancé James, the older brother of reality TV star Spencer Matthews, were showing their support for the charity. The ball celebrated the ongoing achievements of athletes and the incredible sporting opportunities that Disability Snowsport UK offers to anyone with a disability. Attendees were treated to an evening of fine dining and entertainment, along with a number of fundraising activities.

Pippa's wedding is actually open to the public, church says

Pippa and James' high-profile outing is thought to be the last before they officially tie the knot in two weeks. Speculation has been rife about which designer Pippa has chosen for her wedding dress, with Giles Deacon tipped as the frontrunner after he was pictured visiting her house last year.

Pippa's family will play special roles on the day, with niece Princess Charlotte chosen as a bridesmaid, while nephew Prince George will play the role of pageboy. It's not yet known whether Kate, 35, will be maid of honour, but she will no doubt lend her support on the big day. The bride and groom will say "I do" at St Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire followed by a reception at the Middleton family home, about seven miles away. The lavish gardens and grounds of Carole and Michael Middleton's mansion lend themselves perfectly to a private wedding reception.
