Demi Moore is being sued over the death of a young man at her house two years ago, according to reports. TMZ website says that parents of the victim are taking legal action against actress Demi, over their son’s death by drowning in her swimming pool back in 2015. The star was away from home when her caretaker held a small party at the house. The young man, named as Edenilson Steven Valle, was at the party and had told the group he could not swim. The website reports the victim was found dead in the pool after apparently tripping and falling in, while the rest of the group had left.

The legal action surrounding Demi is said to be down to the presence of alcohol at the party and the fact there were no depth markers or safety signage around the pool. The temperature in the pool is also reported to have been a high 101 degrees Fahrenheit, which Edenilson’s parents, Jorge and Maria, are arguing affects brain function. Shortly after the tragic accident, Demi released a statement which read: "I am in absolute shock. I was out of the country travelling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got the devastating news." She added that the death, which occurred at a party held by her assistant, was an "unthinkable tragedy, and my heart goes out to this young man's family and friends".

Demi’s daughter Tallulah Willis has previously posted a photo on her Instagram page posing with her famous mum by a swimming pool. The pool may well have been the pool where the tragedy took place. The picture appeared to have been taken on Father's Day as her caption read: "When you can't be with papa.” HELLO! has contacted a representative for Demi Moore for comment.
