Celebrity fans of Elf on the Shelf

Elf on the Shelf has become a popular tradition in the homes of many families with children big and small over the holiday season, and some of our favourite celebrities have been sharing their own creative elf adventures this month.

Stars including David and Victoria Beckham - who have been hiding their elf for six-year-old daughter Harper, and Ayda Field and Robbie Williams - who have a female elf called Dotty for five-year-old Teddy and two-year-old Charleton - have been having fun in the countdown to the big day.

Ayda Field and Robbie Williams

Ayda Field and Robbie Williams' two children, five-year-old Teddy and Charleton, two, have been enjoying waking up to their Elf on the Shelf - which has been named Dotty. Ayda has been sharing photos of Dotty's adventures each morning, which have included her sledging down the stairs with a Lindt reindeer and visiting Santa himself while sporting a faux beard! 

David and Victoria Beckham

David and Victoria Beckham have been making sure that their six-year-old daughter Harper has a memorable countdown to Christmas with their family's own Elf on the Shelf, who has been pictured hiding everywhere from a top shelf to the coffee machine each morning to bring festive cheer to the household. 

Emma Bunton

Emma Bunton's Elf on the Shelf looks like he's been getting up to all sorts of mischief so far this month. The former Spice Girl shared a photo of the elf covered in icing on top of a gingerbread house, captioning the image: "Naughty elf, hungry elf." No doubt Emma's two sons, Beau, nine, and six-year-old Tate, are having a great time discovering what the elf has been up to this festive season!

Peter Andre

Peter Andre's family have named their Elf on the Shelf Ben. The doting dad shared a sweet collage of photos of his two daughters Princess and Amelia with their new elf, captioning the post: "So we had a very special visitor last night and looks like he will be having lots of festive adventures this Christmas! The kids absolutely love our @elfontheshelf tradition and the magical story book that comes with it. We’ve named our scout elf Ben." 

Samia Longchambon

Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has a female Elf on the Shelf called Nancy - and she looks like she fits right at home on the family's shelf - even fitting in with the colour scheme! A doting mum to children Freya, eight, and Beau, two, Samia took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of Nancy over the weekend, simply captioning the photo: "She's back and true to form."

Tom and Giovanna Fletcher

Tom and Giovanna Fletcher are big fans of Christmas, so it was no surprise to discover that the celebrity couple have been treating their two sons - Buzz and Buddy - with daily visits from Elf on the Shelf. On 1 December, doting mum Giovanna took to her Instagram account to post a photo of the family's elf hiding in a Christmas tree, which she simply captioned: "He's baackkkkk!! Xx"
