Harry Styles lent his support for non-profit voter registration organisation, HeadCount, to encourage his fans to vote in the upcoming midterm elections.

HeadCount's co-founder and executive director Andy Bernstein told Billboard: "Having the support of individuals like Harry Styles has a tremendous impact. This is especially important for the midterms, which often receive less media attention than the presidential elections. It helps us reach more potential voters and ensure people get their voices heard."

Julia Roberts was astounded by Martin Luther King Jr.'s selfless act of generosity after he and his wife Coretta kindly paid for her parents' hospital bills. Speaking to Gayle King, the Hollywood star described how the duo helped her parents because "they couldn't pay for the hospital". Julia added: "They helped us out of a jam."

Robbie Coltrane

Daniel Radcliffe has heaped praise on the late Robbie Coltrane who sadly passed away in September aged 72. Discussing their time on the set of Harry Potter, the actor gushed: "Honestly, just Robbie was incredibly funny, and when you're a young kid on a set you can get bored, and I think Robbie just recognised that we needed to be entertained a little bit… He was incredibly funny, with accents, impressions…He was lovely with us."

Malala Yousafzai has kindly given her voice to the women of Iran as she offered her support once again. On social media, she wrote: "To the young women of Iran who are in the streets to demand freedom and safety: You are already changing the world with your courage. To everyone else: Share their stories to help keep this movement alive."

Richard Armitage was struck by Sandra Bullock’s kindness to him as she took him under her wings on the movie set of Ocean’s 8. He told HELLO!: “Sandra was so sweet to me. She gave me her phone number and her email. She just kind of looked after me on set and introduced me to her kids.”

Viola Davis has used her platform to give a voice to Iranian women when she shared a video highlighting the oppression people face in Iran.

Many praised The Woman King star for bringing the video to the attention of her legion of fans, with one saying: “Thank you so much for being our voice. You are a kind soul.”

Amanda Holden is extraordinarily kind as she goes the extra mile for all of her friends and she is so thoughtful. Lisa Faulkner told HELLO!: "She is always so thoughtful and just the kindest. She is so good-hearted and generous. With her emotions too. She's super fun, she's so kind.

"We have a big WhatsApp group and if someone is having a bit of a hard time, like through Covid, she was like 'Right let's get everyone together and we can do a Zoom' or she'd send over some flowers. She's always inclusive. She's a joy."

Rachel Zoe has revealed she is most proud of her kindness.

She said: “I am probably most proud of the fact that I never lied to anyone or cheated in any way to get where I wanted to go. I worked insanely hard without cutting anyone down or trying to take short cuts to the finish line. I try to still believe you can get to the top while staying honest, empathetic and kind along the way.” She added: “Be kind.”

Good-hearted Tom Brady has shone a light on the destruction from Hurricane Ian as he vowed to donate to Florida Disaster Fund and encouraged his NFL family to follow suit.

"Happy we’re able to head home for Sunday night but so many people in Florida won’t be able to do the same," he wrote. "I'll be making a donation to the Florida Disaster Fund to get things started and I’m hoping the rest of the NFL family in our state will follow suit."

We love this heart-warming gesture from Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Gugu was a pillar of support to refugee Françoise when she was reunited with her parents in Amsterdam after 30 years.

Gugu said: "I had to be there to support her. It was such a privilege to see them reunited. Families belong together."

George and Amal Clooney

We can learn a lot from George Clooney and Amal as the couple are teaching their five-year-old twins to be kind. The actor explained they want their children to "pay attention to other people".

He added: "In my family, the rules were always, ‘Challenge people with power, defend people with less power.’ And if you can do that, you’ve had a good life."

It is lovely to hear how kind-hearted Lady Gaga makes time for others. The singer carries out acts of kindness in her own life, as well as making it her mission to make the world a kinder place with her charity Born This Way Foundation.

"Lady Gaga always kept her door open to me," Greyson Chance said. "She has always been there for me."

Hugh Grant and Anna Eberstein

We are delighted to hear Hugh Grant and his wife Anna Eberstein have gifted £10,000 to an organisation who provide free plumbing to the vulnerable this week.

James Anderson, the founder of Depher, said: "This time with it being from Anna as well, it feels more personal as it’s from one family to others. It's been humbling and heavenly."

It is lovely to see Lewis Hamilton take time before his race to champion Serena Williams’ kindness.

He said: "Serena has such fierceness, power, and strength in both body and mind. To be so bold, Black, brave and, above all, a kind and caring human being is beautiful… You make me want to be better in all ways."

How wonderful that Elton John wanted to team up with Britney Spears to "boost her confidence", having been inspired by the kind words of his husband David Furnish.

Elton said: "David told me, he said listen, "Why don't we do it with Britney'" and I went…"Wow, that's a bit left field, what a brilliant idea".

"A) I would love to help her and get her back to recording and b) I know she can sing and she hasn't had anything out since 2016."

Kate Garraway has shown great kindness and complete devotion in looking after her husband Derek Draper.

Lorraine Kelly said: "I have watched in awe as Kate has dealt with Derek’s illness with such strength, love and dignity. She’s kept the family together, been a wonderful mum and also continued working. She is also the kindest and loveliest woman and we are all so proud of her."

A royal photographer was overcome by King Charles' kindness as he has been worrying about others, even in the immediate wake of the Queen's death.

"He came up to me and said, 'Are you OK?'" Arthur Edwards explained of his meeting with the King. "He’s coping and he’s worried about me. I was a bit overcome by it.”

We've just found out that Prince Harry gave $1.5 million of his own money during Covid to support children and young people in Botswana and Lesotho.

We caught up with Sentebale charity's CEO Richard Miller at Harry's polo match: "The donation was a fantastic kindness and showed that his commitment to charity is not about him just turning up, it's deeply personal for him, giving his money. It also means as we came through COVID we could come through in a strong financial position and get our programs up and running."

Sarah Jessica Parker delighted the owner of a Dublin restaurant by being one of their kindest customers. She may be one of the nicest women in show business. 

Owner Conor Hughes said: "Sarah was one of the nicest customers I've had. She noticed we were super busy, asked if I was short staffed, and jokingly offered to help in the kitchen.

"She gave me a hug before leaving. Sarah was happy to converse with everyone before they left!"

We love that Oprah got all the guests to write a heartfelt message to her friend Ava Duvernay while they were out in Hawaii for three days to celebrate Ava's 50th birthday.

Ava said: "Bless you Oprah for this gift, for this friendship beyond words. My loved one and hostess with the mostess, Oprah. You each blanketed me with your joy and your kindness. It felt like nothing I'd ever experienced."

Vanessa Bryant has kind plans to donate some of the $15million lawsuit proceeds to a foundation helping underserved athletes which is named after in memory of her husband Kobe and daughter Gigi.

Her attorney Luis Li said: "Mrs. Bryant intends that proceeds from this judgment will go to the Mamba and Mambacita foundation to shine a light on Kobe and Gigi’s legacy."
