David Beckham launched his single grain whisky Haig Club earlier this year, and already he has made his mark on some of London's glitziest bars, with bar menus boasting their own signature cocktails featuring the former football star's fine tipple.

The sports icon, underwear model and husband to fashion designer Victoria Beckham, has revealed that his favourite way to drink Haig Club is neat, or in the Haig Clubman, a refreshing cocktail made with sparkling apple soda, ginger bitters and a slice of ginger root served over hand-cracked ice.

The Beckham blend is fast becoming a fixture on the London bar scene, popping up in some of the capital's most exclusive hotel bars – you can find it in the iconic Savoy Hotel's iconic American Bar, as well as at the Corinthia's stylish Bassoon Bar and the Mondrian's uber cool Dandelyan Bar.

Or you can head to Claridges, Punch Room at the swish London Edition hotel in Fitzrovia, or for panoramic city views, jump in the lift to Aqua Shard.
