That is when Aldi launches its summer baking range, and with all you need to whip up your own baking masterpieces from £2.99, we think this is going to sell out fast!

Along with providing baking equipment and a number of gadgets, the range also offers inspiration from the queen of baking herself, with a selection of Mary Berry cookbooks available from £2.99.

You'll be able to cook up some bank holiday weekend treats using the collection that includes retro baking accessories (£3.99), enamel pie dishes (£6.99) and silicon baking moulds (£6.99). And if you're partial to mini pancakes or waffles you'll be able to make an American-style brunch using the Sweet Treat Maker, a steal at £19.99.

But it is the classic stand mixer that is set to be the most sought after piece. This gadget is available in four colours with a balloon whisk, beater and dough hook with a six speed rotary control, and costs £64.99 – much more budget-friendly than many others on the market.

The supermarket has been making headlines recently thanks to its impressive range of Specialbuys and award-winning own brand alcohol range. At the end of July Aldi launched a vintage-style homeware range featuring duvet covers from £14.99 and a number of home accessories for as little as £2.99.

Meanwhile the brand's Oliver Cromwell London Dry Gin has seen a huge surge in demand after it was named one of the best gins in the world at the International Wine and Spirits Competition. The spirit, which costs £9.99 per bottle, fought off competition from brands that were four times the price in the London Dry category.
