- 1 Florida Grapefruit
- 1 banana
- 100ml/4fl oz Greek-style yoghurt
- 1-2 tbsp runny honey
- Mint sprigs, to decorate
Cut the grapefruit in half, then cut a slice about 1cm/½in thick and reserve for decoration. Remove the skin and pith from the rest of the grapefruit and put the fruit in a medium-sized jug.
Peel and roughly chop the banana. Add it to the grapefruit along with the yoghurt and whizz with a hand-held blender. You could also use an upright blender or smoothie maker.
Add a little honey and whizz again. Taste and add more honey if necessary. Pour the smoothie into 2 glasses, decorate each with half a slice of the reserved grapefruit and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately.
