A recipe for the classic cocktail, a bloody mary
Ingredients
- 100ml good quality vodka, chilled
- 300ml good quality tomato juice, chilled
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 2 celery sticks
- Pinch celery salt
- Pinch sea salt
- Plenty of freshly ground black pepper
- Few dashes (maybe 6-8) Worcestershire sauce
- Few dashes Tabasco – or lots if you like it hot!
Method
Mix all ingredients except for celery in a cocktail shake and mix thoroughly with plenty of ice.
Strain into glasses over lots more ice and serve with a celery stick as garnish.
