November 07, 2013 - 19:31 GMT hellomagazine.com Crunchy chocolate sweetie nest recipe from Cake Angels Cute little nests filled with sweet treat chocolate beans for the prettiest of party food – they will disappear as fast as they are made!Makes: 14-16 Preparation time: 20 minutes + 1 hour chillingIngredients 200g quality dark (or white) chocolate, broken into pieces 200g cornflakes, crushed finely A little oil, for greasing Sweet treats such as Jelly Beans to decorateMethod 1. Gently heat the chocolate in a large bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water. Remove, stir and leave for 5 minutes. Meanwhile lighly oil 12-16 small patty or jam tart tins. 2. Stir the cornflake crumbs into the melted chocolate, mixing to coat really well. Spoon a little of the mix into each patty tin. Using the back of the spoon, press the chocolate crumbs into the base and side of the patty tin to form a nest. Once all the mixture has been used up, refrigerate the nests for 1 hour or until the chocolate has set. 3. Use the tip of a rounded knife to slip each nest out from the tin.
