Kate Moss has tripled her earnings, according to a new report. The supermodel earned £11.7million from October 2011 to October 2012 – almost triple her earnings of the year before that.It was a particularly lucrative year for the supermodel, who appeared in campaigns for brands including Dior Addict, Salvatore Ferragamo, Mango and Rag & Bone.

She also launched a lipstick range for Rimmel, appeared at the Olympics Closing Ceremony and starred in George Michael's music video.

Filed at Companies House, the figures showed that the first of Kate's two companies, Tilly Church, posted profits of almost £8million, while the second, Skate LLP, saw earnings of £3.8million.

It's possible that her earnings for the current year may be even higher. Since the figures were posted, Kate has launched an accessories collection with Carphone Warehouse, published her own book The Kate Moss Book and starred in campaigns with St Tropez, Versace, Stuart Weitzman, Givenchy and Versace.

Despite having been in the modelling industry for almost 25 years, Kate has worked continuously throughout that period and now shows no signs of slowing down.

Thanks to her fashion icon status, Kate is still in demand, with the world's top designers all clamouring to dress her and land her for ad campaigns.

The mother of one appears to be following in the footsteps of fellow supermodels Elle Macpherson and Gisele Bundchen, who have both managed to turn themselves into a lucrative brand – Elle has an eponymous underwear line while Gisele has designed a line of flip flops.

The Kate Moss Book, released last year, tracks Kate's career from being spotted at the age of 14 to becoming one of the world's most famous models.
