Fans of the Olsen twins have been disappointed to learn that they won't be starring in Netflix series Fuller House. A statement given to Us Weekly confirmed that Mary-Kate and Ashley, who shot to fame in 1987 when they shared the role of Michelle Tanner in the original show Full House, will not be part the cast. "Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family," executive producer Robert L. Boyett said on Friday 22 May. "It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavours."I appreciate their support and good wishes towards Fuller House," he added.
