The big countdown is on for the wedding of the year when Prince Harry will marry Meghan Markle. Royal fans have been speculating on the bridal gown that Meghan will choose for her big day, and now one prominent designer has sketched her wedding dress prediction for the royal-to-be. Esteemed bridal designer Caroline Castigliano thinks Meghan will go for a dress with a modern yet classic feel and will incorporate her own style while still respecting the monarchy. Caroline's sketches show a breathtaking gown with a sweetheart neckline and a low V back – a less formal dress than Duchess Kate wore for her wedding to Prince William.

Caroline told HELLO!: "I think Meghan's dress will be in a delicate lace with very subtle beading, designed with a deep V neckline and long lace sleeve. The sleeve will likely show her skin tone through so you can see the beauty and delicate detail of the lace.

"The gown may skim Megan’s body and have a large train attached at the waist, in possibly a silk zibeline. From the front you will see the vision of the body-skimming lace dress and this fabulous train creating drama. The train then extends to the back, with the lace from the gown trickling down the train from the waist."

On Meghan's accessories, Caroline predicts: "I think Meghan will wear a silk veil covering the entire gown and extending to just past the end of the train on her gown. She might choose a tiara from the collection of the late Princess Diana with a delicate diamond necklace and matching bracelet.”

Caroline also gave us her view on the designer Meghan has commissioned, revealing: "Burberry could be a runner. Burberry is a true British brand and would mean they gain more recognition for the couture side of the company rather than the iconic trench coat. We have seen Meghan pick out niche brands though, with her wearing Hiut jeans by a small welsh company on her state visit to Wales. This shows Meghan is willing to look outside of the mainstream big brands and this is such a nice thing for her to help grow and gain recognition for smaller brands. I can’t wait to see what Meghan wears!"
