British heritage handbag company Launer holds a royal warrant and has been supplying the Queen with bags, purses and other leather goods since 1968. In fact, take a good look at any picture of Her Majesty at an official event and you're likely to spot her carrying a Launer handbag with its distinctive structured shape – according to reports, she owns an incredible 200 of them. Now this classic label is taking its designs one step further and is offering shoppers the chance to customise some of its signature styles with whatever colours and materials they fancy.

On its website the brand says shoppers can "choose from an array of components: colours, finishes and skins, ranging from calf leather to wonderful exotics of lizard, python, ostrich, crocodile. The softest goat suede in colour options is used for linings. The signature Launer 'twisted rope' emblem comes in different guises; gold plated rope; gold plated flat; embedded with Swarovski crystals."

Her Majesty has long been considered a style icon and hasn't stopped wowing with her elegant outfit choices even as she reaches her 92nd birthday. In recent years she has made appearances on the London Fashion Week front row, sitting next to US Vogue editor Anna Wintour while watching Richard Quinn's fall-winter 2018 showcase before presenting him with inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.

She's also gained attention for her love of bold colour-blocking and striking prints, which she usually pairs with matching hats and coats. In a recent TV appearance with David Attenborough she wowed audiences with her choice of colourful floral frock. She usually wears skirts or dresses and is rarely spotted in trousers – in fact, she's only worn these four times, and always while enjoying sports or leisure activities, and never on official engagements.
