She's an icon of our time, her face splashed everywhere from glossy magazine covers to giant billboards. And demand for Kate Moss's image shows no signs of abating.
The most recent evidence of which came when collectors handed over a total of more than £183,000 at Christie's auction house in London for original prints of the model shot in the early days of her career.
A black and white photo of a 19-year-old Kate, taken for German Vogue in 1993, sold for five times the expected amount, eventually going for £54,000. The top lot was a series of six Chuck Close portraits which sold for £84,000.
Before posing for the six portraits, Kate had not combed her hair, put on make-up or even looked in a mirror. "I've had enough pretty pictures made of me," she said at the time.
