Before David Beckham became a sporting sex symbol, tennis star Bjorn Borg was the fit athlete the girls adored.
And now, 30 years after his Wimbledon heyday, the Swedish champion known as The Iceman has served up a treat for admirers of his unique style. He's launched an underwear range featuring fun, fashionable yet comfy numbers.
As models showcased the sexy smalls at a special event in Australia, the player - who readily admits he was "never the fashion guy" - explains how it all started.
"The Fila clothing became a fashion because I wore it... So when I quit it gave me the idea to do something," he said.
Over in New York another of the game's most iconic - and fashion forward - figures was also venturing into the sartorial arena. Venus Williams, who's become known for her eye-catching on-court attire, has put her name to a sassy collection of sports and loungewear.
