When well-connected supermodel Naomi Campbell jetted into Berlin to officially launch the city's Fashion Week, it didn't take her long to find a German icon who could help acquaint her with the country's capital. At a glitzy fashion event, the catwalk queen made a new pal in Boris Becker.
The former tennis champ was in town to watch the Hugo Boss runway show - a traditionally glitzy affair - and to check out the newly launched Mercedes Benz. And although he mingled with A listers including Formula One race ace Mika Häkkinen and German model Eva Padberg at the event, it was Naomi in particular who seemed to catch his eye.
Ladies man Boris worked his charms on the 37-year-old catwalk star, who had earlier presented a speech on racial discrimination within the fashion industry. And Naomi seemed equally taken with her new pal as he was with her, breaking off their conversation every now and then to laugh out loud at his jokes.
