Jaime Winstone swops the silver screen for the London catwalk

16 FEBRUARY 2008
She is used to taking on new guises for the big screen and now Jaime Winstone has transformed herself into a catwalk model for the triumphant return of Vivienne Westwood after a nine-year absence at London Fashion Week.

Making her modelling debut in a long-sleeved T-shirt from the designer's Red Label line, the Phoo Action actress appeared bare-faced on the runway sporting a tousled version of her trademark pixie crop.

In a second outfit that epitomised Vivienne's legendary punky style, Jaime daughter of actor Ray - ensured that all eyes in the star-studded audience were on her in an oversized jumper accessorised with badges. Heavy gothic eye make-up and mock crocodile red leather boots completed the look.

Cheering on her pal was singer Lily Allen, sister of Jamie's beau Alfie, along with Kelly Osbourne and Kimberley Stewart. Also in attendance was American Gangster actor Cuba Gooding Jr., who revealed he fell in love with the designer's clothes after she provided his wardrobe in the 2005 film ShadowBoxer.

Vivienne was not the only designer drawing in London's fashion-conscious celebs. Arriving for Welshman Julien MacDonald's show were US singer Anastacia, who launched her own clothes collection in 2006, British songstress Jamelia and porcelain-skinned model Erin O'Connor.
