Dapper was the look du jour for film stars, royalty and TV talent alike at a central London soiree this week. Hugh Grant, Viscount Linley and filmmaker David Furnish were among a roll call of familiar faces who'd donned their sharpest suits for a party honouring acclaimed Savile Row tailor Richard James.

Appropriately, male guests were displaying the cut and quality which have made Savile Row a mecca for suit-wearing men the world over, with interior design expert Viscount Linley accessorising his navy two-piece with a vibrant tie. Beat The Star presenter Vernon Kay also adapted the style to reflect his personality, stepping out in a metallic blue affair and white shoes.

Not to be outdone, there were some equally as well-dressed ladies at the party. In a nod to the occasion What Not To Wear fashionista Susannah Constantine was in a trouser suit, as was Texas frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri.
