Kate launches foreign travels-inspired summer line for high street chain

Kate Moss envisages a summer brightened by a flurry of boho-style dresses if her latest designer efforts are anything to go by.

The Croydon-born covergirl's High Summer 08 Collection - her latest collaboration with Top Shop, which launched the new looks at its Oxford Circus store on Tuesday - is inspired by her travels to India, Mexico and Ibiza.

One highlight of the 34-year-old's new range is a red, pansy-print, wrap frock, which was snapped up by over 200 people as soon as it went on sale. Other key looks for this, Kate's sixth collection for the store, are embroidered chiffon tunic dresses, Fifties prom-style gowns and flouncy minidresses featuring Aztec prints or florals.

Hotpants, chiffon kaftans and printed bikinis provide a chic approach to beach wear, while eveningwear is dramatic - with standout pieces including a blue diamante-detailed flapper dress and a lace-detailed gown with scalloped hemline.
