As trendy young women who both have a unique and individual sense of fashion Pixie Geldof and Alexa Chung are rising stars of British style. And on Tuesday the hip duo had the chance to swap tips with their American peers, fellow fashion leaders Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Alexa, 24, and 18-year-old Pixie sipped strawberry champagne cocktails as they exclusively previewed the latest designs in the twins' Elizabeth And James collection - the contemporary clothes line the pair launched last year - at Oxford Street department store Selfridges.
Named after their younger sister and older brother, the collection is the blonde sisters' second high fashion line, inspired by many of the vintage pieces found in their own wardrobes.
Their latest creations for the label - which the girls have recently announced will be expanding to include footwear - include menswear-inspired blazers combined with simple shift dresses and shirts.
