She's often hailed as the quintessential English rose, and it was easy to see why as Keira Knightley made her entrance at Chanel's haute couture show in Paris this week. The Duchess actress was the epitome of sophistication as she showed off a glossy new chestnut-hued 'do, complete with a thick, eyelash-skimming fringe.

The new hairstyle is a fresh look for Keira, who's the face of the French fashion house's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. The London-born star, who has gone from dark brown to a rich autumnal chestnut hue is known to favour a side-swept up-do for red carpet events.

Taking in the white-themed spring/summer collection with the 23-year-old, who was dressed head to toe in Chanel, were Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, US Vogue editor Anna Wintour and French Oscar-nominee Catherine Deneuve.
