Victoria Beckham recently said she'd love to reach Armani levels of success in her own fashion career. And having debuted her second collection of dresses at New York Fashion Week, the former Spice Girl was feeling particularly inspired as she attended the opening of the Italian fashion maestro's new 5th Avenue store this week.

"You know - I can dream," she said, elegant in a shimmering asymmetrical number and her hallmark vertiginous heels, when asked about her aspirations to follow in his footsteps. "I have so much respect for Armani."

The mum-of-three, who has appeared in ad campaigns for the designer with husband David Beckham, joined several snappily dressed Hollywood men at the store opening. Among them were US star Leonardo DiCaprio, Irish actor Liam Neeson and Jennifer Aniston's musician beau John Mayer.

Also enjoying a night out was Ricky Martin. The Latino crooner, who became dad to twin boys last summer with the help of a surrogate mother, said sons Valentino and Matteo are "growing really fast... They're beautiful."
