Guess launches augmented reality fashion watch app

Guess Watches has launched the first ever fashion watch brand iPhone and iPad app.

Launched at its Regent Street store in London, the application means consumers can keep up with the latest special offers and can access a GPS store finder.

There’s also a built-in interactive augmented reality function with footage of the new AW12 watch collections and prizes to be won.


For other smartphone users there is also a QR code promotion in Guess stores.

Marie Grove-Walton, Guess Watch’s UK marketing director, said: "This new app is the perfect CRM tool, communicating to our customer on the one device they never leave home without and which we hope to actively engage with our fan base via information, special offers and unique retailer experiences.

“We are one of the first fashion watch brands to integrate the latest technology in augmented reality and make it a key feature within the app, rather than relying on third party applications, which we've dubbed Guess Live – creating an experience that is interactive and engaging with our consumer.”


Gifts include a two night spa break at Champneys worth over £700, Cloud Nine hair straighteners, OPI nail varnishes, yearly subscriptions to GQ and Glamour, True Grace candles, Lemonade crystal phone cases, makeover days from and a prize holiday for two people to see legendary DJ Tiesto live in a surprise location in 2013.
