The Duchess of Cambridge, who is due to give birth to her and husband Prince William’s first child in three weeks' time, wore the beige cashmere coat on a visit to Cambridge last November.

The coat, which boasts a funnel neck design and bow-fronted cinch belt at the waist, sold out instantly – but now the label has reissued the simple and stylish design as The Kate in her honour.
The designer is a favourite of the royal mother-to-be, who opted for a leopard print MaxMara studio dress in March while attending the wedding of Princes William and Harry’s long term friends Laura Bechtolsheimer and Mark Tomlinson in the Swiss Alps.
In February the pregnant Duchess wore a monochrome jersey wrap dress by the brand to visit Hope House women’s shelter as part of her work with Action on Addiction, a charity Kate has been patron of since January 2012.
At the time, a spokesperson from MaxMara told HELLO! Online that "sales go through the roof" each time the Duchess wears a piece from their line, and although The Kate is not officially affiliated with the royal family, it is sure to be a popular tribute and is available from House of Fraser, priced at £875.
The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry applied to trademark Kate’s royal title in April 2012, so that her official charities would be able to use her name on products with great effect if the opportunity arose.
"We have been registering our new name and logo in different territories around the world," a spokesman for St James' Palace said. "As part of that process, we have to choose any categories under which we might conceivably operate in the future. This also protects the foundation against other people using its name illegally. We included clothing in case we choose, for example, to make T-shirts in years to come, for marathon runners, etc."
